GMU will open the exhibition How to Collect Art: the Karel Tutsch Story on April 27th at 3 PM. This long-term exhibition presents the lifelong work of Karel Tutsch (1941–2008), a connoisseur, collector and tireless supporter of young artists. For more than a quarter of a century, he kept his Na bidýlku gallery in Brno going by personally underwriting its expenses. He helped to promote Czech art abroad, while giving foreign artists a platform back in his hometown.

Enjoy the day. But what if a carpet, an obstacle, treacherously appears during that day? Or two? What to do with them? Jana Rychává and Jindřich Panský decided to explore the possibilities. Sometimes life slips between your fingers, sometimes it's a ride. It is just as uncertain as movement with a carpet. The performance tries to find answers, but also to ask new questions. Enjoy the day with us along with all its obstacles. An unconventional performative walk, which combines dance, circus and fine art with the spaces of a gallery or museum.
