Accessibility Statement

When creating these pages, accessibility and barrier-freeness of the website were taken into account so that they meet the principles of accessibility according to the Rules for Creating an Accessible Website prepared for the purposes of the amendment to Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on public administration information systems and Decree No. 64/2008 Coll., on the form of publishing information related to the performance of public administration through websites for people with disabilities (Decree on Accessibility).

Websites strive to ensure the best possible accessibility of their content and functionality, thus complying with the principles of the Rules for Creating an Accessible Website.

The website is created according to the HTML5 specification and adheres to syntactic and semantic correctness. Content and form are separated using CSS. This makes it possible to use the website on various output devices. The font size is defined in relative units so that the font can be enlarged or reduced using the browser.

Information presented in other formats

On our server, information is also offered in the form of DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX and PDF documents, mainly because they contain typographic elements and formatting that the HTML web format does not support, or are too large, so we recommend downloading them. The DOC and PDF formats are also more suitable for printing. To view these documents, you can download Word Viewer and Acrobat Reader for free.

Contact in case of problems

Despite all our efforts and will, it is possible that an error may occur on our website. If you find anything on this site that you believe does not meet accessibility requirements, we would be grateful if you would report the defects to us at the e-mail address info@galeriehk.cz so that we can take appropriate steps to eliminate these shortcomings.

Exceptions to accessibility rules for sites

Rule 1: Each non-text element carrying a meaningful message must have its text alternative. For some images (e.g. banners and images in galleries) and control icons (search, menu), a text alternative (the alt attribute) is not filled in.

Rule No. 3: Unless the nature of the website precludes it, information communicated through scripts, objects, applets, cascading style sheets, cookies and other add-ons on the user’s side must be available without any of these add-ons and the page must be operable by default. Otherwise, the public administration body shall communicate this information in another way. Javascript is required for the correct functioning of the main menu and the enlargement of images in articles and galleries.

Rule No. 30: If a table is used to display tabular data, it must contain tags for row or column headers. Some older HTML documents with tables do not contain these tags.
