30/07: LEARN MORE ABOUT TOYEN

Toyen – an important, unconventional artistic personality. The only woman who established herself in the male-dominated avant-garde movement as a member of the Devětsil and the Prague Surrealist Group. We will discuss this topic during a guided tour and follow up in the gallery studio of GMU.

01/07: THE THEATRE FESTIVAL REGIONS WILL TAKE OVER GMU

event

Enjoy the day. But what if a carpet, an obstacle, treacherously appears during that day? Or two? What to do with them? Jana Rychává and Jindřich Panský decided to explore the possibilities. Sometimes life slips between your fingers, sometimes it’s a ride. It is just as uncertain as movement with a carpet. The performance tries to find answers, but also to ask new questions. Enjoy the day with us along with all its obstacles. An unconventional performative walk, which combines dance, circus and fine art with the spaces of a gallery or museum.
