We are currently working on new permanent exhibition Czech Art of the 20th Century and its Labels.
The exhibition takes an innovative approach to selected collections of works from the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové, introducing individual categories and concepts – labels – that we commonly encounter in art history texts, newspaper articles, textbooks, exhibitions, and permanent displays. Specifically, these concepts are: school, style or -ism, group, (un)official art, and generation.
The exhibition will be on display from Thursday, 21 February 2026.
