Pop-up Café & Bar

From Friday, July 31, 2026, through Sunday, August 9, 2026, you can visit the pop-up café and bar on the gallery’s rooftop terrace. You’ll be able to enjoy coffee, refreshing drinks, and a pleasant atmosphere with a unique view of Hradec Králové. Treat yourself to a moment of relaxation.

Special events will also take place on the terrace during the pop-up. Come enjoy the gallery from a different perspective – we look forward to seeing you.

The gallery remains open during its regular hours – so you can visit the exhibitions Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and on Thursdays from 12 PM to 8 PM.

On Friday, July 31, starting at 6 PM, the pop-up café and bar on the GMU rooftop terrace will host its opening event. DJ Blanchita – a Prague-based DJ and artist who blends a distinctive groove, spatial awareness, and a building atmosphere in her sets – will be performing throughout the evening. Disco, dub, and other rhythms naturally intertwine in her sets, letting the music flow.

The opening will feature a flash day by KØPR Studio. No appointment is needed – just drop by to get a tattoo from Jana Klenorová (JXKLE), who specializes in organic shapes, lines, and floral motifs. Texture, layering possibilities, and line contrasts are key elements in her tattoo art. For the flash day, she has prepared several special smaller designs for you – the segments can be combined and layered with one another, creating new compositions.

DJ Primitivo will liven up Friday evening on the terrace – in her sets, she blends funk, Afrobeat, Latin, soul, disco, and house into a seamless musical flow. She plays exclusively from vinyl records and builds her sets around a distinctive groove, rhythm, and carefully selected tracks.
