INTRODUCING OURSELVES

With its major collection of high-quality art, the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové ranks among the most important galleries in the Czech Republic. The gallery is dedicated to creating, managing and making accessible a collection of 19th- and 20th-century art, including work by contemporary artists. The permanent exhibition of the gallery's collection and regular temporary solo, group and thematic shows acquaint viewers with essential values of Czech modern and contemporary art. The gallery also organises programmes accompanying its exhibitions, as well as holding lectures and other cultural and educational events.

On Tuesday 28 September, Thursday 28 October and Wednesday 17 November (public holidays in the Czech Republic) is gallery open 9.00 – 12.00 and 13.00 – 18.00.
